TANDEM BIKES
Tandem Bikes, also known as Twin Bikes, are bicycles that can be ridden by more than one rider. Two seats is the most common number, however, there have been bikes that can seat up to ten people! The earliest patents date as far back as 1890s. They were an obscure relic of the past until a revival in the late 60s. These vehicles are perfect for recreation, or spending some time together with that special someone. Fun Fact: In 1892 Harry Dacre wrote his famous song “Daisy Bell” which is about a young man courting a woman with promises of "...a bicycle built for two".
